Thank you!

A special thank you to our lovely friends who put together a leaving picnic for us today. The rain stayed off and we sat and chatted over sausage roles and bottles of pop (that is a special reference for you Simon!). Thanks to you all for your kind words in the lottle book you gave us, really nice for us to take away with us and thanks for the umbrella guys! Catherine and Becs - you're stars for organising it - thanks loads!

So count down continues, we are buried in boxes - some for loft, some for boat and some for the charity shop! Yep, can you believe it there is still stuff to get rid of!

We're feeling very excited now....... I find myself regularly checking the inland waterways association website - they have some fab boating books on there!!! What have we turned in to?!

We bought this book last week that is amazing, its called my first mates guide and it has details of all the canals in and around london and details every local amenity within 20 minutes walk of moorings - how cool is that? I was particularly concerned about not finding laundrettes, this book even has those in there! I feel the author has done her public service to us new boaters.....

Anyway, off to do some sorting, speak soon.....

By the way the picture to the left introduces Buffalo, our new boat, for an even bigger sneak preview please see:
