We've met some boating friends!

Hi everyone, its Debs this time!
How are you all? I hope you're well and enjoying the sunshine.
We're doing well, loving life on the boat and have even made some fellow boater friends who have been amazing to us!

Meet Jan and Ed:

Ed and Jan have given us loads and loads of tuition. We met them when going through a lock and they took pity on us! They have been so helpful and given us loads of hints and tips on what we need to do with the boat, Ed has a boat of his own that he has lived on for 4 years, Jan lives int he marina at Apsley. Tjey have been stars and we've had such a good laugh! They joined us on our boat and helped us get down to Cowley whjere we are moored now. We've drunk lots of wine, done lots of relaxing and worked hard on the canal! We did 10 solid hours moving ont he canal on friday, it was really fun. Its hard work moving these locks youy know, I reckon I'm going to have super muscles by the time we're done! I'm not so great at steering though..... as you can probably imagine!

Meet Phil and Debs the flowerpot men!!:

Aren't they cool, we saw them in Hemel Hempstead and just had to buy them for the top of our boat! We thought they were fun!

Like I say at the mopment we are in Cowley, its lovely here as well, we're right by a nice pub and of course a pub! V important!

So far we're loving the boating life, don't forget, anyone who wants to come and visit is most welcome!!!

Our good friends simon and catherine are coming today, can't wait to see them, we're hoping to have a bbq!
